Who is Jim Moore?

Currently I publish AgLineNews, a daily e-mail of news and information designed to keep my clients up-to-date on the latest U.S. and global issues facing the production agriculture industry.
Additionally, I have handled writing projects for several advertising agencies and businesses including Fruehling Communications, Woodruff Sweitzer Inc, and Credit Service Company.
Also during the past three years, I completed a life-long dream of attaining a Masters Degree in Mass Communication. My thesis was accepted and I graduated June 2, 2005. Hooray! (Sorry for bragging.)
Days of yore
Prior to entering graduate school, I spent 13 years as the International Editor for Meister Publishing Company, the world's largest publisher of specialty agriculture magazines and information products. My duties included, but were not limited to, planning, writing and editing hundreds of editorial and promotional projects.
I was also a founding editor of three publications serving the agriculture industry in Mexico and Central America and was a frequent traveler south of the border gathering editorial material and generating advertising projects.
Way, way back
I learned to appreciate the writing craft and the necessity of meeting deadlines working for newspapers in California, Arizona and New Mexico. During my newspaper career, I covered hundreds of stories and served in many capacities including City Editor, Copy Editor, Writer and Photographer.
